Finally got around to taking a dio pic. This one is centered around a group of Alliance pilots hanging out between missions. They are kicking back having a couple drinks, playing some games, and it kinda looks like the Admiral might be hitting on one of the pilots. I've used a few of Marauder John's dio accessories in here as well. Continue reading ...

I worked on this the other day, I think I'm about happy with it. Not sure if I'll use it for anything else, but I figured I'd share it. Continue reading ...

I'm in the process of making an order to Marauder John for some weapons and dio accessories. I'm super stoked. In the mean time I'm going to pull out some of the other stuff I've gotten from Marauder John to show off. They've got some great products, can't wait to share with everyone!! While you're waiting go checkout Marauder John's site. Continue reading ...

Either way I thought it was pretty cool. Course I made it so I should :D. At any rate I've been wanting to do a continuous dio-story, something that encompassed all the action figures that I collect. I think this may be it. I did what ended up being a teaser pic for it, I'm not going to go too much into detail about it til I get some of the dioramas done and am able to start posting some pics. Should be interesting if it gets off the ground. Continue reading ...

Happy New Year Everyone!! Here's to a bright new year of family and friends, love and compassion, wisdom and success. Things are starting to slow down here at the homestead, although I know it'll start rolling again soon. Christmas was great, hanging out with some friends, and celebrating with family at home. My son loved it, several Star Wars toys and video games now in his clutches the galaxy is definitely not safe. I know I've been a bit lax on our diorama project. I've still not forgott... Cantina Dio, Getting Started

Okay, I was planning on posting this yesterday but the stove broke and that just put a general damper on the whole day. Good news is as far as we know it is fixable, which is much cheaper than replacing it. That aside, I have gotten some odd and end Star Wars, G.I. Joe, and Warhammer 40K parts together to use on the "serving table" for no better name. It will be the table that the bartender fixes the drinks from and serves them in the cantina. I've take a picture of these parts. I've figure... Continue reading ...

Here is an excerpt from Simon's, Narceron, blog. Click the link to read the rest and see his pics. "So I'm working on this 1/18th scale town for my son. I don't want it to
be a model, per se, but rather something he can play with when he's old
enough to do that sort of thing. I am impressed by modern action
figures, but their playsets are just zero fun. I don't think these need
to be accurate, or even complete buildings, just little stepping stones
for his imagination...." Read the re... Continue reading ...
Customizer's Challenge!!

Every once in a while me and my friends get the idea that we should have a customizing competition, more of a challenge really. That time has come around again. Usually our challenges have revolved around customizing Star Wars and G.I. Joe action figures, more or less a marathon doing several in a short period of time. The last one proved to be just too much though. The quality of the customs, mine at least, were lacking and the fun value had slipped away. But this time, its slightly dif... Continue reading ...
